I'm not sure if you're a Heinlen fan, but I'm increasingly convinced that organizing society according to his Starship Troopers' Terran Federation would result in catastrophe: in it, Donald Trump would not be able to vote.
The only people with the time and resources to do that are the soros-funded unemployed welfare recipients , soy boys, and feminists. If a conservative does that, they usually have a family and a job that they would rather not lose. Plus, even practicing self defense against a democrat or black predator gets you a murder charge, thanks to every major city having a democrat mayor, sheriff, or governor watching. The welfare recipients vote for the democrats and the democrats protect their voters, even when they're violent predators.
Those of us who speak as if it is are far outnumbered these days. It does not mean that we should not continue but it does mean that reality, as it is being told to the American people, looks very different. Most are not yet uncomfortable enough or angry enough or principled enough to be bothered. Even so, if Trump is reelected the reality will become unavoidable to even the most obtuse or disinterested people. This is because people seen actually going to jail gets attention regardless. If Trump does not get reelected however it is likely that all of this disappears back into the memory hole. Deleted or lost records, missing or otherwise destroyed evidence. It all goes away behind the curtain of justice.
If Justice isn’t being served, we speak it as if it is. THAT is what builds public pressure.
