Sarah Palin is my spirit animal.

When she got hammered with McStain, many normies, including me, could not fathom a main stream media with an agenda. Now that our GEOTUS blew the lid off that, the public will be able to see through any ridiculous smear campaigns against her.

Just like Trump, it doesn't matter what ridiculous bullshit they throw at her. At the end of the day she's a patriot.

Is Palin good? She was a big supporter of McCain, Romney and other swamp creatures.

Alaskan here ...

So, the short version is she ran for state (she had a muni political position prior to that - city council I think) around the same time her competition blew up in a pretty ugly political scandal.

DDG'ed this real quick:

https://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/sarah-palin-rode-alaska-scandal-political-stardom/story?id=11947028

As governor, she taxed the balls off the oil company and spent most of her time going to war with "the system" trying to run her out on rails (similar to Trump - perhaps not to the same extreme). Those taxes scraped all the cream off the oil price spike - and were eventually replaced by Sean Parnell and cost the state a shit ton of money/lost revenues but this was after oil prices dropped considerably/crashed.

To this day, I think they paired her with McStain to get her out of the office.

Other than going through that as a life/professional experience, she isn't really battle tested as far as how she would handle a wide range of issues - politicians are actors, they just get up there and pretend to be whatever the crowd wants - exceptions (trump) are rare.

All that said, I would vote for her over Murkowski any day of the week and I think she would probably be a pretty solid conservative.

Regards,

Cooter

Awesome to hear from an Alaskan Centipede! Hello! Well said about Palin. She looked like a fighter, but she didn't stay in long enough to have a proven track record. All of a sudden she was on the national stage. She talked the talk, but she got squashed by Tina Fey and the media before we really got to know her.

If she runs again, and does it right, the media and Fey won't be able to railroad her again. She can use/ridicule them now. Trump has shown them the way.

McCain didn't want her at his funeral so she's clear in my book.

Murkowski has been gaming the system with indigenous votes for years that's how she keeps her seat.

spez: Can't find the source on this because I saved it to my old t_D account before the great migration to .win but it came up during Kavanaugh

She won a write-in campaign after getting primaried.

If that doesn't smell like a big steaming pile of bullshit, I don't know what does.

I mean you have to admit it's awkward. The guys dropping the turkey in fucking STARING at the two of them. I know what you mean that she's not thinking about optics just being her but it does have awful optics.

Not the biggest Palin fan with all the family drama. But she would be a MUCH better choice for Alaska.

I have to admit I was brainwashed by the psyop against her

Idk if she is any good but they most definitely railroaded her with bullshit very similar to what we see against Trump today

She said Obama pals around with terrorists and I fell for the shit about it being a reference to his Islam but it was actually about Bill Ayers

I am pretty embarassed by my 2007 self.

Palin should run. The liberal outrage would go into overdrive. I would hope she announces he intent before Nov. 3. To the left, the perception it is just Trump and whatever Trump sidekick they focus on that day.

Knowing that there are more unconventional politicians ready to embrace the Trump doctrine would put the outrage machine into overdrive.

I was disappointed by her when she quit as Governor in order to write books and cash in.

She should have finished her job.
