Why do I think Barr is trying to run down the clock on this scandal? I think he fears a huge backlash because of the election. He claims he isn't afraid, but actions speak louder than words. Is he going to wait until a week before the election to force Durham to disclose his indictments? I highly doubt it.

Barr is a swamp creature and is just trying to run out the clock. Nobody will get charged before the election.
If Trump wins, and if Barr doesn't start indicting those criminals in January, he will get his ass fired.
