My mom is currently in a debate with my leftist aunt. For years my aunt has been saying that Trump is an evil, callous person who doesn't care about people. She is one of those people who gets her news directly from facebook headlines and buys into all that russian collusion delusion and thinks that he killed millions with covid. She is convinced that the stuff he is saying is going to start a civil war (not the people currently burning down the country though). My mom has been trying to convince her for a long time but she gets a lot of shit for her beliefs and I want to help her out.
I need help finding stuff that shows what an awesome guy our president is. Pictures and videos of him interacting with others that display the kind of character he has. Records of him donating to charities, stories from people he has helped out, really anything I can show my aunt to prove her otherwise. Any chance I can count on my fellow Pedes to help me out? Would really appreciate it.
The picture of him standing with Rosa Parks and Mohammed Ali while receiving the Ellis Island award comes to mind. They don’t usually give that award to white people, but Trump was so helpful to the black community that they gave it to him.
The pic of Trump with Sharpton and Jackson at a black church is also a perfect example of the reverence he would receive before becoming president.
From a caring angle, the shot of Trump touching the amputee veteran’s face at one of his first rallies is very impactful.
