His local hub just lost 4 people this week, 1 retired,1 died, and 2 quit, they were missing 8 drivers before this happened, and everyone want's their packages and mail right now, he said there were 20,000 postal workers that caught covid and 2000 of them are not returning to work (EVER) AND THE DEMS KNOW THIS, that is why they want mail in ballots, He stated this is going to be a mess, Now ask why he would tell me all this, ( we are good friends back 40 years ago in high school to today) and the post office has help wanted adds, but my 28 year old son applied (e College educated and literate) and was told he wasn't qualified. Yes he has a good driving record, doesn't do drugs, But he is a TRUMP SUPPORTER that could be it

I know someone close who works in the post office and they’re focused on hiring minorities. If your son’s white then that’s why he didn’t get the job

mikethemarine [S] 73 points ago +73 / -0

make sense, my old job hired and guy that wasn't qualified to do the job and got state licensed just because his name was Tyrone, and when the state found out he was white the state took his certification and license away

O'Neil is an Irish surname.

1A_FTW 33 points ago +33 / -0

I know a white guy that looks Irish named Tyrone. I can’t fathom thinking it’s appropriate to hire someone based on their name and fire based on skin color.

THIS IS WHAT AFFIRMATIVE ACTION LEADS TO. Don’t forget it.

Merit or bust.

How can a state confiscate a certification/license over race? He should sue.

11
mikethemarine [S] 11 points ago +11 / -0

no that wasn't the point. He wasn't qualified to get the licences in the first place but because they thought he was black he was issued the licence and when he attended a school the state put on they found out he wasn't a person of color and they pulled them after they checked his required background. He wasn't checked for the proper experience in the first place because they thought he was a person of color

Yeah, I haven't seen a white postal worker in years.

Sirbigusdickus 14 points ago +14 / -0

I have a white postal worker, but he also moonlights in Antifa. Cuck has dozens of random tattoos in his legs and such.

12
TD_Covfefe_Crusader 12 points ago +12 / -0

All of the postal workers in my area are white, and with the demographics here they wouldn't have anyone working at all if they only hired non-whites.

This. I used to be a letter carrier (granted, it was 30 years ago), and minorities and vets got extra points on the hiring point system.

For a 20 year old man, the pay was excellent and there was TONS of overtime available. Everything over 8 hours per day or 40 per week was 1.5X and anything over 10 hours per day or 48 per week was 2X time. Double time was nice. I worked my ass off.

Another reason that govt workers should not have unions.

5
militarysnoopy 5 points ago +5 / -0

USPS workers aren't govt workers

11
Pleepleus 11 points ago +11 / -0

I looked up and yes you are correct. But they must follow strictly Federal guidelines, receive federal benefits. USPS run by presidential appointed person. Not considered federal employees since USPS does not receive public funds... ok. And USPS been running a deficit for about 10 years. They have their own law enforcement branch, USPS has it's own OIG. Lot of Fuckery going on with the non federal employee designation.

If hes a trump supporter he prolly would hate every second working for the post office. 30 admins all getting paid 5x what the carriers get to do nothing but bitch at the carriers for their failures and missteps

This is a real story of government bullying ruining society, art, and innovation for everyone.

5
Capn_Guill 5 points ago +8 / -3

As a postal carrier, I say take this with a grain of salt. It does not seem legit to me.

3
HCQaddict 3 points ago +3 / -0

How do we know you are really a postal carrier? And if you are, why should we care what you think?

2
Capn_Guill 2 points ago +2 / -0

You dont have to believe me and if you do you dont have to care what I think. But I am a carrier and I have many connections to upper level management. This guy claims to know more than a carrier would. It just doesnt make sense.

3
DonutDog 3 points ago +3 / -0

Thank you for all you do. I've got nothing but respect for the postal workers that bust their asses to get us our mail in the pouring rain, snow, hundred degree desert, etc, all in those old beat up trucks with no A/C.

3
thefeebleguy 3 points ago +3 / -0

I used to work for the postal service at a processing plant and yes, they're focused 'Diversity' hires... and a lot of never Trumpers in USPS

2
Brez 2 points ago +2 / -0

My postman said he can't get a relief at all since chinavirus madness started. 6 days a week for 6 months. Days he was sick we just didn't get mail.

IME the carriers for USPS are really good, hardworking people. I have my problems with them because we ship a lot of parcels every day 6 days per week, but for the most part they’re great. I don’t know about their politics, I’m sure there’s plenty of Trump voters, its just the higher up people that are corrupt and cause problems. Just like the cops, there’s likely some dirty carriers who’d commit voter fraud, and I can think of 1 who I’d be worried about, but he was fired a year ago. I think mail in voting is our biggest threat, but it’ll be much more sinister than the carriers misplacing mail, there’ll be outside forces involved almost certainly.

2
mikethemarine [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

yes they have to many people at the hub and not enough on the road, my friend said he's not going to start working 6 days a week and 12 hours a day they are all now working 1 1/2 to two routes a day and they are not keeping up. He's getting ready to retire early he just can not take the pressure and I don't blame the carriers

I don't know either, he did the on line application, then was contacted and told he wasn't qualified. I know what you said is true but it is also the buddy buddy system here that is how my friend got his job 38 years ago out of high school his uncle got him in

I remember an old movie called Postman or something like that, where Postal workers end up fighting in a civil war or something like that. Really long ago, and I remember thinking "What a horrible plot. Why would postal people ever do anything like this?". Damn, its all coming true... :(

ShadowGate

You know they are using copies the patriot act's collection of the entire internet's traffic etc to build profiles on people then give the profile to whatever the deep state wants to use it for - ie hiring deep state sympathizer people to their companies.

I applied with the Post Office over a year ago, jumped through all the hoops, passed all the bullshit, but they never got back to me because their hiring office is in another state, and they are useless. Meanwhile my local postmen that keep changing say they need people... In this last year I have had 3 lost packages including a signed two album collection of Tom MacDonald... I don't have the money to try and buy them again and it pisses me off. Wanted to frame them as Tom is true counter culture, and I think he is likely going to be a historical self made artist... FUCK! Really pisses me off on that one. Was going to not open them but frame them. FUCKING USELESS FUCKING POST OFFICE!

We're always down workers. They don't want to hire full time employees.

If you apply for the post office I recommend checking "rather not say" for race. I did. I haven't seen another white guy hired since I started 10 years ago.

I work in the Post Office in a good position

The first part is true. The Post Office doesn’t have enough people ... mailmen are delivering at midnight and Sundays. It’s a fricken mess.

Passing the Postal Exam is actually not easy. I am fairly smart and I only scored 83. You need to score at least 70. Veterans automatically get .+10 points so that is why so many vets are in Post Office. Post Office prefers vets of all colors.

There is no conspiracy against whites. We badly need carriers but Amazon pays better.

If you want a job, you just need to pass the fairly hard test, have a pulse and not be a felon

If you can’t pass the test, apply for “Holiday Casual” and you will be working in a month.

There is no race conspiracy at the bottom of the Post Office. Post Office prefers women supervisors and vets do get preferential treatment

1
mikethemarine [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

thanks can you retest to get a higher score? Is there a family preference for disabled vets spouse?

1
mikethemarine [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

I have to say thank you to all the postal workers here on the Donald, just by the responses there has been at least 6 of you trying to give good information. just wanted to say thanks and watch out for those dems that throw out ballots that you work with, please document and report wrong doing even if you only do it here !!!
