I am not a conspiracy theorist typically but maybe the reason Joe Biden is calling it quits early in the morning is that they are getting him on a new sleep schedule in order to counteract the effects of sundowners during the debates. If he sleeps during the day and is up at night this would put the debate times in the period of the day where he is most lucid.
