Where in Oregon (apart from Portland) would you guys recommend? I was looking at property in the Beatty area, and it wasn't too expensive. Basically I wanna move out of Portland down the road when I have an opportunity to, and build a tiny house/cabin on multiple acres, grow my own food, etc.

Eastern or Southern Oregon for sure.
Property values in cities with 150,000+ are minimum $300k. It's not worth it.
