I'm not honking or slowing down. I'm not endangering my life

My opinion is yes.

I also realized after posting this that it should be written as businesses, but it's too late.

I refuse to delete a post. I'm not Adolf Twitter.

If they hit your car, raise their shirt or show lbehavior that threatens your life or others in the car, honk and floor it but go straight to the police afterward and video tape EVERYTHING. Evidence is critical. I would avoid any situation if you live in a blue state or county/metro.

Why does raising their shirt matter?

I would add you want to avoid any such situation if at all possible no matter where you are. Calling 911 to tell them where the illegal activity is is WAY better than calling them to say you ran somebody over.

That being said the law is pretty simple and in our favor most places. WI law: "you have to be able to articulate fear of loss of life or severe bodily injury." You aren't allowed to swerve to hit more than necessary. If you can back up, you should. You can leave no matter what that takes. Driving is more effective than shooting, and more legal.

I would not come at a crowd at speed, gas pedal floored, and honking. Not only do you give them notice to shoot, but legally if you can do all that maybe you can turn around. I wouldn't stop. 5 mph is a suggested speed which seems reasonable to me. Flooring it from there might become necessary, but you might get to safety before they gather en masse by traveling at that speed. Of course the biggest danger is when you're already stopped.

Legal considerations aside and onto saving your skin: make sure you're not driving into a trap with no escape. And look for a vehicle parked on the other side of the crowd, perpendicular to traffic. They'll use that stolen vehicle to ram you.

By the way, calling 911 is the wrong thing to do in this situation. It's best to video as much as possible and if something happens you floor it and go to police station.

Ok. I was assuming get the heck away from danger, then not knowing where the cop shop is. Call 911 if they want you there let them direct you. I guess you're saying if you can retreat to safety, the cop shop is it? Idk, I've seen a LOT of videos of people being victimized right outside the cop shop. I'd rather be a few towns away at least, with no one on my tail. And not spending a second to worry about filming; do so if you can sure, but even without it not only are you better off alive but you should have a pretty good case. In this environment all anybody should need to know is there were rioters. If you're up against a Soros DA, apparently it doesn't matter what evidence you have you're guilty and they are not.

You will get hit by Soros DA regardless because of where the incident occurred

2
CuomoisaMassMurderer 2 points ago +2 / -0

Well a hypothetical situation could be anywhere, but yeah you're stuck in the jurisdiction where it occurred. No matter how far you have to drive before thinking you're safe.

DNC_Ballot_QATeam -1 points ago +1 / -2

It's more about reporting and evidence to hand to an attorney than fleeing the jurisdiction where the incident occurred. If you cannot trust the police then you shouldn't be there in the first place.

CuomoisaMassMurderer 2 points ago +2 / -0

Ok but if anybody is in a situation like this it involves being somewhere they shouldn't have been in the first place.

I gave an example. You should attend more concealed carry courses.

No one has a right to falsely imprison and attack drivers while blocking the roadway. Especially in these times where people are regularly dragged out and attacked. If you fear an imminent threat to your safety, you should have no obligation to stop.

Thas what I'm sayin! Some say their local laws forbid it. Idk but best be sure

They don't have to be commies and they don't have to be burning down buildings.

If a crowd of people surrounds your car and attempts to break in, hell yes run them over. I'll vote to acquit.

I wouldn't waste a perfectly good honk on terrorists I would floor it

Yes — especially in Florida

You do not have to honk. However you can honk honk.

You should be able to defend your life by any means necessary, short of preventative slaughter not in the moment (or burning cities to prevent the scenario from developing.... and other frowned upon atrocities)

"Preventative slaughter"

Sounds like a superhero

Lots of qualifiers in your question, but lemme see if I can help you.

Do you have a Truck (TM)? Brush guard? Good tires? Handgun/or better and reloads? And what is this 'honk' business?

Pray for me pedes, I drive a rsx. Therefore I will have to reverse and get some speed before I ram through a bunch of commies.

I see the type of mass hysteria occurring that led to the Third Reich, pouring forth from the media and left, seeping into a critical mass of the population. This critical mass no longer recognizes the Constitution and laws of the land, so the government may protect you or it may jail you for life, or criminals may run you down, stop you, and murder you consequence-free.

I have started driving with tactical awareness. What is going on as far out as I can see ahead? Do I have more than one option at the next stoplight? Is there anyone standing on the sidewalk at the next stoplight? What route minimizes my chance of encountering trouble? Which arterial routes provide inadequate options for diverting away from trouble? Of course, I am in an at-risk area, so hopefully few of you will need to take steps like this.

Yes; History has shown you their MO, use that knowledge to protect yourself. I’ve told my kids (20 and 22) and GF do not stop, it’ll be 10x worse if you do.

I lap carry when in my vehicle too.
