My SIL kind of tried this. Not in a child abuse way, but a “we’re enlightened and sophisticated parents and won’t force pink in our daughter.” Guess what her favorite color was when she was 18 months old? It happened FAST.
My brother and his wife were kind of similar. They didn't push anything on her, she is now 11 and its all princesses and dresses... its almost like gender normals exist for a reason, but its probably just fascism.
