I don't know, I don't watch Hannity

28
thunderpussy 28 points ago +30 / -2

He has become, at times, too embarrassing to behold. He should hang it up.

36
SludgeWarehouse 36 points ago +36 / -0

I definitely prefer Tucker but I still have to give Hannity props for being on the Trump train from the beginning.

13
thunderpussy 13 points ago +14 / -1

For sure. He may not be the sharpest pencil in the box, but he is still a pretty good attack dog, for his time.

Hannity has always been a mental midget.

10
thunderpussy 10 points ago +10 / -0

Oh absolutely. There is no comparison between the intellect of Tucker and Hannity. Tucker makes Hannity look like room temperature jello.

Hannity was a pretty good show host at a point in time, but never had much in the way of mental firepower to work with. He is past his expiration date.

15
jlynbk 15 points ago +15 / -0

Hannity was the blunt force trauma to get people to listen. Tucker is the surgical scalpel to get them to stay. Hannity did his job.

9

yesterday people were bashing Pence and now Hannity, kind of suspicious.

Don't be silly. Hannity has been there from day 1 and still working like a bloody champ. He deserves more respect than that. He has been a great voice for Trump.

They so badly want to fire him. But they can’t because he’s worth too much money.

60
LesboPregnancyScare 60 points ago +61 / -1

they are going to do something about it. It wont matter to Tucker, he can easily start his own platform, and due to the Streisand Effect, will become more popular than now.

37

If they ever fire him, Tucker on OANN 👌🏻🐸

3

I think he could take over Rogan as the top podcaster. He’s really good. It think his show must cost a lot to put on though because I’m thinking he has at least a dozen writers/researchers working for him.

Agreed, insults in today’s America to much farther than truth (sadly?)

I mean... I can’t remember a single thing from any of the Trump Hillary debates other than the classic “you’d be in jail” line, and same with most other Americans. Reality TV sells baby

4
friendofno1 4 points ago +4 / -0

2016 was so fucking surreal, that’s insane that he actually said that. And then there was that dinner where Trump fearlessly humiliated Hilary with that savage, below the belt roast. The man gave no fucks at all and it was a glory to behold. There was and never will be a year like 2016.

3

I remember watching him at a tech show once. Paraphrasing from memory; everyone was circle jerking over Self-driving cars. Tuckers comes along and says "I'd ban them right now". Everyone is gobsmacked. Tucker explains; Truck Driving is the single largest employment in the States. Putting that many people permanently out of work is going to bring massive pain. Like, potentially society-collapsing levels of crime, poverty and general discontent.

Tucker was the only one in the room that could see several steps into the future apparently.

I don't see anyone that can even come close to the enthusiasm that Trump brought. Tucker is the next best thing after Trump as far as pure enthusiasm and not taking the media's shit. Ted Cruz would also be high on the list to meet those criteria.

23

7
polk_high_4_td 7 points ago +8 / -1

I mean, he's a politician, but i think ted is totally relatable. He's far more popular than most of the gop. We need someone that everyone knows so they'll continue to vote after Trump. Tucker is looking good right now. Let's see how it shapes up.

Nah. You need to be able to control large groups of people spread out in many industries to get results. You need experience making important hiring decisions every hour that affect a lot of people. You need a team of advisors that are used to handling a myriad of issues worldwide.

So either you are a party player politician and rely on them, or you have vast executive experience of decision-making leadership in challenging situations.

https://www.businessinsider.com/tucker-carlson-fox-news-show-ratings-2016-11

Tucker Carlson’s new Fox News show scored high ratings on its debut night. Approximately 3.7 million viewers watched the inaugural episode of “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Monday, according to Nelson Media Research, making it the network’s most watched telecast of the year in the time slot.

In the key 25-to-54 age demo, Carlson raked in 750,000 viewers, more than his competition on CNN and MSNBC combined.

Fox News formally announced Carlson would receive his own show last week.

Previously, Carlson served as a co-host on “Fox & Friends Weekend” and was the editor in chief of The Daily Caller, a conservative news website.

TV providers, aka cable companies, don't make a dime off of advertisements. Only networks make decisions regarding ads, because they are the only ones who benefit. A network could be completely ad-free if they chose.

it's gotten a lot harder to stream, I remember a year or two ago there would be multiple youtube streams with thousands of people in them.. now you are lucky if there is a single youtube stream, you have to search for Tucker Carlson and set the time filter to past hour - there MIGHT be one

so much search engine interference - there were a few websites that would let you stream it too but they started getting really bad in terms of being choppy

Uh, oh. Styxhexenhammer will need to point out his seething hatred/pure jealousy of Tucker yet again soon. I love Styx, but he's got some issues.

8
tombombadil 8 points ago +9 / -1

Why does he hate Tucker? I’m not a huge Tucker fan, but I’m definitely not a fan of the weird spiritual fuck known as Styxhexenhammer666.

6
RyanT282 6 points ago +7 / -1

Styx has yet to say exactly why. He said he's soon going to post a video specifically detailing his hatred for Carlson. He alludes to his utter disdain for Tucker almost every single week in one way or another, followed by loads of thumbs down and comments from fans asking why he's like this. Styx bashes Tucker about as much as he bashes Christians. Ironically, he once admitted that he's never even watched Tucker.

5
tombombadil 5 points ago +6 / -1

He’s never even watched Tucker.

And I guarantee you that he has never done independent research on Christian theology. All of his “knowledge” of Christianity comes from criticisms of Christianity. He has never looked at it with an open mind. He reminds me of your classic reddit atheist. Just miserable all the time.

1
RyanT282 1 point ago +2 / -1

He seems to have daddy issues or something. All Christians are lumped together in his mind as old timey Bible thumping fundamentalists of the 80s. He thinks that anybody who believes in God is an "evangelicon" who wants to force "muh Jesus, Jesus" on everybody. He regularly refers to the barely-known "Satanic Panic" as if it were a nationwide epidemic and seems confused that parents didn't want their children becoming Satanists. I watch Styx almost every day and like many things he says, but he's definitely way off in these ways.

2
tombombadil 2 points ago +2 / -0

Bingo. It’s just the same old recycled argument arguments that you find in any book written by a famous atheist. It’s atheistic apologetics. Meanwhile, I doubt he even knows what the Catechism is or what some of the major heresy’s were. And it’s pretty clear that he believes that Christians all interpret the Bible literally, when that is only the case in a few fringe sects that have popped up in the past few centuries.

FTLRalph -1 points ago +3 / -4

You should be, he's quite accurate.

Definitely has issues with Tucker tho, he hates Fox in general, I do too, but I will admit Tucker seems to truly go out on limbs more than anyone else on the network much to the contrary of what Styx accuses him of. Which is basically "he makes a lot of money and works for Fox thus is a sellout legacy media hack", to summarize.

Otherwise Syyx is spot on with his analysis and daily videos.

6
tombombadil 6 points ago +6 / -0

he makes a lot of money and works for Fox thus is a sellout legacy media hack

This is why I am no fan of Styx. He seems to despise people who are successful at what they do. There is a lot of envy in him.
