I know a lot of people who are right of center but are terrified of COVID. This is a result of the fear-mongering from the MSM and a lack of basic curiosity from the general public. The fact that you're reading this comment right now shows you are more politically engaged than the average American and are seeking out sources outside if the mainstream.
Most people have maybe watched at most an hour of MSM news each week with a scary COVID counter running, and/or seen a few viral videos on Facebook or Twitter. The sad truth is most people won't bother to really look into things, and even fewer will look beyond CNN, MSNBC, or Fox News. Many who fancy themselves as wary and critical might check Snopes, which we all know us just as biased as the MSM outlets.
It's an uphill battle to open people's eyes to the ubiquitous deception baked into almost all media that they consume. It's something vwe need to be wary of, too. Every time we make the slightest error or even misarticulation it is weaponized against us.
Vigilant pursuit of objective truth is the surest path to the betterment our nation. The liars and cheaters will fight us every step towards that, and they control the most powerful propaganda machine the world has ever known. Many people who share our core values will be deceived, so we must be patient and calm, yet also relentless in revealing truth.
i finally got denied somewhere here in CA for not wearing a mask.
the DMV refused to let me in the building to renew my license without a mask last week so after a short back n forth with the giant fat walrus of a woman (the 'manager') i politely told her 'this shit aint over' and drove off unlicensed.
The sucker punch was that $1200 from the sky. It's psychologically the same level and method of control as casinos have over impulsive gamblers. Everybody knows it's a racket. The only reason they don't get burned down is they randomly gift free money to the people who wander in. For some personality types, they're hooked on the first go. Those are the dumbasses still being mask nazis.
It also hit the pause button on the growing chorus globally of norms calling bullshit. Certain groups took advantage of those few months of coerced pacifism and outright tyranny to mobilize their troops with a bunch of bullshit narratives. This is their only weapon: Bullshit. If you see it, you're seeing them.
This is a coup. It is nowhere near over. We don't even know all the players yet. The election is just the episode to build tension before the season finale in late January. So, pace yourselves frens. Or you might shit yourself silly on national teevee and what would poor old mother think of that?
