The seasonal flu by comparison has a 99.9% survival rate among the general population and it’s actually deadlier for children than covid-19.
Imagine somebody telling us 10 years ago that politicians would try to lock us all down in our homes and force us to wear a mask and get a vaccine because we might asymptomatically spread a mild flu-like virus. Telling us we need to “slow the spread” even if it means tanking the global economy and killing thousands(perhaps millions) of people.
The only reason COVID has a worse survival rate is because we don't put flu patients in nursing homes with the elderly. Because that would be moronic or homicidal.
