Is this what Musk is so upset about?? That the chips he needs aren't getting made any more due to the acid no longer getting shipped?
Surely, if such a key component is only available over here now, that would be a good motivator to him to create chips here? If he can create rockets, he can figure out how to make chips.

They can do it, it's just like 4% more expensive. It's not even drastically more expensive to make stuff in the USA or at least NOT in China.
