Dude, I went to college in the 70s. You couldn't swing a dead cat without hitting a Commie on college campuses back then. I interacted with and debated Commies (including some of my TAs) quite frequently. It was like an intramural sport in those days. I have known my share of them over the ensuing decades. I have zero respect for Communists and especially for people who espouse Communism who have never lived in a Communist country.
