Meth lasts a lot longer than an hour.

If they give him some shit like that he has a longer window than just an hour for it to start to not work anymore.

They'd probably give it to him an hour or so before the debates, if Trump delays for an hour, Biden still has a few hours of the peak of the drug before it wears off.

Actual meth addicts will tell you that a single hit of meth can keep them up for like a whole day.

When taken orally, concentrations of methamphetamine peak in the bloodstream between 2.6 and 3.6 hours, and the amphetamine metabolite peaks at 12 hours. If meth is taken intravenously, the elimination half-life is a little longer at about 12.2 hours.

If they give him something like Modafinil, which isn't a stimulant but acts very similarly to Adderall, also used by the Airforce as a "go-pill" that stuff can last for 12-14 hours.

I'm sure there's all sorts they could give him but with his age and fragility, there is a real danger of causing serious damage.

Something like Modafinil or Adderall actually probably wouldn't pose that much of a risk.

Dude probably has the best doctors working for him and he constantly gets all of his blood values and heart checked constantly, so they would be able to assess any potential risk.

A drug like modafinil in itself is a lot easier to handle systemically than something like Adderall/Ritalin or drugs classed as stimulants/amphetamines.

I'm sure they have access to practically anything that they want to give him, probably can give him experimental peptides and shit that cost thousands of dollars to compound. It's literally pennies to them.

Or, he might just take a fat bump of coke before he goes on stage.
