The state GOP failed hard because they made that their argument which is horseshit. The district court denied them, the 7th Circuit (Barrett) denied them. Then they appealed to SCOTUS and Kavanaugh denied them.

None of this would have happened if it didn't escape a lab and it was known it came from a lab (Chinese Military claims it was US weapon, which really just means it was their own military experiment gone wrong.......or did it work as intended?)
