yeah, I mean I see vaccines as something where you have a shit immune system, maybe it'll help you. We're too dependent on vaccines as it is. What's the point of an immune system if you don't let it do its job and instead inhibit it while hiding behind "protective gear", "social distancing" and isolation at home for months on end? It's not just enough to take vitamins and eat right. You have to give your immune system stimulus to produce defenses. You have to be able to go out in the world and encounter potential threats. Your body sees them and produces a natural defense. Even allergies are probably much worse for people this year simply because your immune defense is weakened.
Vaccines are fine enough, WHEN SAFE, for that extra boost to ensure you did what you could to help your immune system out, like any medicine. They should NOT, however be considered a substitute for natural defense or something we depend on to live our life.
Vaccines should NOT be a part of any "phased reopening plan" in any state. It should not be a condition of moving to the last phase that the vaccine be available and some high percentage of people get it.
