These posts always kill me:

"I lost my BESTEST FRIEND OF 72 YEARS YESTERDAY OVER [Topic where I hold a rational, evidence-based position]."

THESE PEOPLE WERE NEVER YOUR FRIENDS. They blindly support an ideology that would have you put in a fucking GULAG (or put to death) for your OPINIONS.

The second someone tells me that they are anti gun/2A or anti free speech in some way or anti self defense (or basically on the left), or if they behave as though my THOUGHTS should be illegal, I politely remove them from my life, entirely.

They are not friends, allies, or even fellow patriots. They are useful idiots at best, clear enemies at worst.

Stop pretending they were ever a friend.
