If it's Barrett, there is no reason to have hearings. She was just confirmed 2 1/2 years ago. Hold the vote and be done with it.

it's a new job, they must be confirmed again, just like Bill Barr had to and he was AG before

Nothing in the Constitution says hearings are required, they are just custom so the other side can air their grievances. We know what they are and it won't change any minds. It just gives loud mouth do nothings like Lindsey Graham a chance to opine. Hold the vote and move on.
