I think there's some truth to that but remember that the bulk of the problem is that we are currently paying people to breed carelessly and recklessly. It's just like in the movie Idiocracy where people who would make the best and most responsible parents wait until they have all their ducks in a row and can provide a good home for children before having them.
Meanwhile a welfare queen gets knocked up six times by six different men because each one comes with a $500/mo welfare support payment which means she can live off $3000/mo and spend most on herself and rely on still more welfare to actually care and raise her kids.
I'm not saying we arrest and throw people in jail for having kids or some kind of dystopian bullshit like childbearing licenses but I'm pretty sure if you offered every teenage girl a few thousand dollars to get her tubes tied in high school there would be many that accept that offer. Just like the young men who sign up for military service because the signing bonus lets them buy a sports car.
When those girls grow up and decide they are ready to have a family, society could even pay for the reversal. Whatever it costs, it's a lot cheaper than supporting some unwanted child being born only as a welfare sponge and turning into a criminal and plague on society as a result.
I'm not gonna tell you how to side on this issue or that or try to dictate your morality to you or any of that. But be aware, you always have to take the bad with the good. If Roe v. Wade gets overturned, be ready for the 13% to be the 26% in about two decades. Just have your eyes open and know that's probably going to happen, and all the baggage that comes with that.
So basically you support Margaret Sanger's position on eugenics.
Some asshole on Twatter was implying that the kids were stolen from a loving family in Haiti. Can you imagine what it would feel like if a kid heard something like that about themselves?
I hope they're protected from it and never hear of it.
edit: Other assholes saying the adoptions must be illegal... somehow. Just vile shit.
(Maybe they're projecting again because of John Roberts' kids?)
When Trump said she has a kid with downs syndrome, it all clicked for me... oh my... the mothers of these kids are FIERCELY anti-abortion, for obvious reasons. She's pro life for life.
She’s already said R v W was established law and she didn’t think it would ever be overturned. I don’t understand why people think she’s going to make a difference in abortion cases.
It will eventually be brought before the Court again though, in some form. The case needs to be revisited because there's simply no "right" to abortion anywhere in the Constitution. (But of course, life is in there)
WE DEMAND COMMON-SENSE ABORTION CONTROL.

Unintended consequences....

I’m really looking forward to some 6-3 decisions.
FIRST 6-3 DECISION COMING TO A NOVEMBER NEAR YOU!
Me too! It feels like it's been a long wait.
edit -- 3 picks in his first term is pretty amazing. What feels like it's been a long time waiting is the long years of activist judges on the SC.
Wait til January 19, 2025 when the decisions are 9-0.
Even if Roe v Wade is overturned, it just means that states make that decision. "The sky is falling" attitude from Democrats is just insane.
Exactly! Came to say this.
Oh yeah, it's coming. Can you believe they're attacking her children? There's really no depth too low for them to sink.

Finally getting rid of the baby killer ginsberg. She gets zero respect from me because the left won't ever give the same.
Second most pro abortion, Sotomayor managed to exceed her forebear by a nose on most topics.

It will be interesting to watch for sure.
During 40 days for life nonetheless
