Nope. Every Western institution that has fostered civilization comes from the Catholic Church and/or Catholic society, from chivalry, to the concept of a university, to the idea of keeping heads of state in check as championed in documents like the Magna Carta (which eventually inspired the English Bill of Rights and later our own Constitution). Every good thing that has come after that is a byproduct of what Catholic society built in the first place.
