Shhhh...you'll freak the marketing department out with those facts! Heaven forbid you point the Appalachian region out on a map or speak of their poverty. sarc :)

It’s worth pointing out that when OP says “poor”, that most of these “poor” people are living like Kings from just centuries ago. America is the greatest nation in the world and in our country’s short lifespan, we’ve created wealth and amazing lifestyles for the poor like the world has never seen. Our ancestors would be jealous of poor people today

Agreed! Poverty from just a few decades ago looks vastly different than that of today, but truly, the same ills are present, its just better dressed & called working poor. :)

Even our grandparents would be jealous of poor people today.

Almost everyone in this country has in their pocket a computer of unbelievable functionality and power and small size, the likes of which NO person in the entire world, even billionaires, could have owned even 20 years ago.

Almost everyone in this country can walk into a normal grocery store and enjoy bounty unheard of in almost every nation throughout history.

But all they can focus on is whether someone else has more.

There's a reason envy and gluttony are cardinal sins.

Appalachian region, you mean those dumb redneck hicks that shop at walmart and keep putting orange man in power?

2

Yup, proud redneck, farmer, loves orange man, ha! Peace, Pede.

There is another group out there who has them beat.

But, we don't talk about them.

Bonus points for me, I grew up extremely poor, a white kid in an all black area...er... ghetto!!! That picture above would have been living large where I came from....So, how'd I get out and the welfare class around me didn't???....Here's a clue or two....Hard work, personal responsibility & accountability....Not one government program or aid was used.

Facts. I’ve been told before if I was a minority I’d be approved for funding, grants and loans that I couldn’t get because I am white (especially for a small business). I know LOTS of POC who are richer than me but you don’t hear me complaining like the left does. I’m far from privileged. White privilege is a myth. It’s people who have financial and political privilege if anything. Most of them are limousine liberals!

I agree, and thought it was a bad idea that would cause people to have WTF moments. I think any money for new, small business should be color blind, so tired of these artificial racial divides

Perception is reality.

BLM is a fraction of the black population who 80% want to fund the police.

Trump provided money to the infrastructure of the community to build compaines and jobs owned by black people, half the money is loans the rest is simply investing in schools allowing them to pull themselves out. This is something Trump should do. So on the heels of Democrat hate machine BLM running rampant turning off blacks to DNC, Trump rolls in and gives them a path out they have to climb themselves. no hand outs

Democrats require blacks to win. Trump has to offer some plan or he is at a huge political disadvantage going into re-election. This plan also allowed him to designate Antifa terrorists huge huge win and no one talking about it on the left or they have to mention all the good he is doing for black communities

At same time he also Fucks KKK which he denounced in 2017 and the press lied about, now he proves not racist, and as a cherry on top he fucks Kamala and makes lynching illegal, which never happens and was to simply climb on the DNC horse and ride away with it into the sunset

Harris penned an Anit-lynching bill and set up the fake attack with Smolette to sell it, but it failed.. The bill was an excuse to make into law many aspects of Critical Race Theory with huge attacks against whites ..

Trump fucked them all over and over..

Biden is trapped, Blacks now have a path out of poverty to stat new business.

BLM is now 35% support, they are dead and every time they are in the street new Pedes get their wings

On paper. I'm feeling like we haven't seen the real numbers for decades. How many new black voters will show up to vote and suddenly learns vote has already been submitted for them? And their dead relatives?

4
Gucci_Belt_MoneyBags 4 points ago +4 / -0

Wow, it’s like being a Democrat could be the issue and not systematic racism.

2
tooeasy4lyfe 2 points ago +2 / -0

Wonder what itll be this year

6
synd1050 6 points ago +6 / -0

Trump should go after white voters.he will gain more than just focusing on minority voters.

3
synd1050 3 points ago +3 / -0

I like your analysis but I think we are focusing too much on getting the black votes that we are forgetting to pick up white voters who are undecided.there are 42 million whites who are unregistered and they are non-college educated. George Bush has high black voter approval and blacks still voted 8% for him.it is okay to go for black voters but don’t forget the base that put you in. He should designate BLM as a terrorist group.this is not 4d chess he is playing.he has pandered so much to them that he is adopting liberal views.if Trump was running against a more eight-wing version of himself who is talking about demographics and focused on ending BLM and ANTIFA, he would be losing most of the white voters. Without whites, you lose elections and this is most important for republicans.

3
ProudWhiteMan 3 points ago +3 / -0

then they'll get a new moment to market and support jumps back up to 70% over night. It's the perfect scam when half of the country is brain dead liberals

Yeah, but poor white people aren't burning, looting and murdering while claiming they're eternal victims.

-13
IlxTheGreat -13 points ago +1 / -14

A lot of them are, you just haven't been to their neighborhoods. Though the eternal victim never has played well in that culture. Ask how I know.

The estimated population of africa is 1.3 billion, so seems like your math is a little fuzzy.

21
kek_saved_the_world [S] 21 points ago +21 / -0

sorry the context is in America, that was not clear. NOT THE WORLD

13
DonJr2032 13 points ago +14 / -1

He was referring to black people in America. Also, the entire population of Africa isn’t black

6
Goozmania 6 points ago +7 / -1

Did you know the overwhelming majority of muslims in the world are black, but they are only portrayed as Arabs in western media?

2
Litecola 2 points ago +2 / -0

You're right- and it should be shown to those black muslims exactly what arab muslims think of them. Hint- it ain't pretty.

0
Goozmania 0 points ago +1 / -1

Yeah. Arab muslims HAAAAATE black muslims. They view them as impure.

It's both sad and mildly humorous that the white race is the only race on Earth, even to this day, that gives black people the benefit of the doubt... and yet, look how we're treated. Black people are despised and distrusted in South America, Latin America, Asia and North Africa.

Nigerians, Indians, Jews and the Japanese all have higher avg income than white Americans. Why doesn't systemic racism affect them?

Norma_Bates 5 points ago +5 / -0

Every time I hear the term white privilege, I reflect back on my life and try to find any ways I have been potentially helped by the color of my skin.

My shitty public school education?

The several Christmases my parents had to choose between presents for their children or utilities?

The time I was pulled over and told to shut up or he would take me to jail because I asked politely why I was being pulled over?

The fact that even though I had a two parent household, I was forced to grow up early due to my father's mental instability and had to leave home at 14 so I could bounce around from state to state to look for work so that I wasn't a financial burden on my family?

When I had to drop out of college because I couldn't keep my grades up due to my work schedule, but I couldn't continue college without my job, but my 3 black roommates with similar GPA's, family income and public school educations could go to school without having to work because they were given grants for living expenses due to color of their skin?

It makes me sick to think that my experiences are considered "less than" or that I'm supposed to feel bad for the fact that I am white. It makes me sick that some people don't see how clearly they have been given an advantage because of a legal obligation that demands they be treated a bit better because of the color of their skin not their character or abilities. It doesn't bother me, although it should, that in certain instances poc are given an advantage over me. What bothers me is that these same people asked for a piece of the metaphorical pie, they get the pie and decide it's not good enough, that they want my piece of pie as well.

3
Litecola 3 points ago +3 / -0

THIS. They never cared for equal anything, they've already been indoctrinated as communists by the Humanist school system (look that up), their communist corrupt preachers (see Margaret Sanger quote) and have wanted nothing but the products of your labor from the beginning.

I take what you are saying and I agree, OP, but that picture is from Ireland.

There are more than enough photos from, say, West Virginia one might use.

Please don't (even accidentally) visually mislead us Pedes.

So, in Kenya is there black supremacy?

2
Goozmania 2 points ago +3 / -1

And poor white people are being shit on by this minority-business horse shit.

Sorry, Billy Bob... You don't get the loan to pursue your dream, because your skin has less melanin..

1
Staatssicherheit 1 point ago +6 / -5

Yeah, probably the most photogenic poor people in the world.

They look like they are fresh Christian missionaries that just got to a third world country.

10
Kerra_Holt 10 points ago +10 / -0

You do realize they were likely CLEANED UP prior to the photo right? For photography reasons.

-5
Staatssicherheit -5 points ago +2 / -7

Yeah, there is no amount of cleaning up would eliminate bug bites on the skin, poor unhealthy eating or lead poisoning. The guy looks like a retired male model.

My guess would be either Christian missionaries or a family that wanted to live out on the land. Anybody have the story behind this picture?

5
Kerra_Holt 5 points ago +5 / -0

No such thing as make-up I guess. Or water. As for unhealthy eating, do you see how skinny they are? Also not all places have LEAD in the water. I should know, I grew up poor AF. Didn't have shoes on my feet until I was 4 and they were from a donation bin and didn't fit right.

0
Staatssicherheit 0 points ago +1 / -1

That's not skinny. That's actually normal weight. That makes me think you actually grew up poor. One of the seemingly paradoxical parts of being poor in a 1st world country is obesity. Massive obesity rates.

Bonami 4 points ago +4 / -0

Poverty doesn’t discriminate. If you don’t have anything to offer to the society and are unwilling to work hard, then tough luck. Opportunities are bountiful for people who are willing to go out and make something for themselves, but not for people sitting around doing nothing while complaining.
