Look at :05 There are people behind the car... they don't appear to be blocking bu rather walking around... and there is another car behind the perp car. She wasn't clear to back out.
Having said that, I can't tell if people were willing to give the driver a path out as they should. Don't trap people.
To be fair, if I had people surrounding my car I'm not thinking about backing up. This driver may have been in a panic (I would be) and didn't realize she could have backed up. Point is, you should never surround someone's vehicle like that (touching the car or not) to prevent them from leaving. Allowing someone the option to leave via only backing up their car when they were already moving forward is not ok. I don't care which side you are on, don't surround someone's vehicle not allowing them to move forward. Wrong is wrong. I'm sure this post will upset people, but we can't bitch about the left doing something like this but think it's justified because the right is doing it. Just my two cents.
Dude the trapped argument is utter bullshit. One she could reverse, and two it was a parking lot.
By the logic of "if people are in front of you, you can plow through them in a parking lot" is utter horseshit.
In Texas people do charity barbecues, they have county fairs, all sorts of events occurring in parking lots. You can't drive into a parking lot, into a crowd of people, and decide instead of reversing you're just going to mow people down. That's insane.
If this was a street or highway, totally different situation because traffic is expected routinely but when a business allows protestors in their parking lot and crowds form you absolutely can not just decide you're going through them.
Even if it’s a freaking parking lot, A VEHICLE IS STILL ALLOWED TO DRIVE THROUGH A PARKING LOT AND YOU ARENT ALLOWED TO BLOCK SOMEONE ELSES MOVEMENT...even in a parking lot
One second they are switching drivers, doesn't seem to be much "threatening" going on (some guy is taking a pic of the plate), a second later the new driver is plowing through the crowd.
Need more info, but looks very fishy indeed.
Edit: Needs confirming, but hearing a lot of reports this was in a parking lot, so that completely debunks the whole innocently driving down a road that was being "blocked" by protestors ... on top of the fact that they were switching drivers for no apparent reason, of course.
This next bit is complete and pure tin foil hat speculation, but: in a another thread someone suggested that it might be a total set up. Meaning they would just need one "planted" person to attack the car, to make it look like the new driver was justified in plowing through the crowd ... absolutely bananas if there is any shred of truth to this.
Then again, not a lot of us expected that other Patriot to get hunted that night. Remember that picture of the coward hiding in wait around the corner of the parking garage entrance ?
There a small hit in the windshiled lower right corner..
Someone says "good luck getting out of here"
BUT no one in that scene is attacking the Person changing seats... I don`t see their lifes threatened in anyway. Most people are not looking at the car..
Exactly, they weren't exactly in fear for their life if they were casually getting in and out of the car, at the very least mere seconds before they gunned it the first time.
If the driver is surrounded and feeling intimidated...you never know if they will hit the gas, whether carpark or road (what is the difference? Who was the driver anyway?
I might argue that for some reason, drivers switch seats in this one and she didn't beep or indicate that she wanted to get through. She was in her car for less than 5 seconds before she hit people. In the BLM/Antifa gets hit videos I've seen, the driver has beeped, gone slowly or otherwise tried to give them an opportunity to get out of the way. A lot of people in this video were hit from behind. I see a difference, especially since this was a parking lot and not street.
Clearly a difference between a pack of people threatening someone in a car with violence on a street right IN TRAFFIC vs. standing in a parking lot and then someone starting their parked car to run over the people while they were free to leave and call the cops.
She shouldn't have to back out. They should make the lane of travel in the parking lot available to her unless the property owner leased them the space to shut it down.
It typically happens when there is a gathering in a parking lot. People usually at least signal that they want to leave first instead of just suddenly plowing through people.
The car was standing still. There was no reason to drive through the people.
They switched drivers and the driver was angry. When the driver was walking around the car no one touched him.
People should not block you from leaving your parking spot but it doesn't give you the right to drive over them.
I'm with you. Don't block traffic no matter what side you're on.
Read the articles, no matter what side you're on.
This happened in a parking lot, I would say that's very different than a road.
Was the driver trapped? It's a valid question.
Watch the video. She was clear to back out and noone was touching her car.
I did watch the video. Does backing out lead to an exit? Or was the vehicle trapped?
im opposed to anyone blocking traffic regardless.

Guy in the video clearly said good luck getting out of here.

VERY STRANGE INDEED. (second video down from top of this tweet):
One second they are switching drivers, doesn't seem to be much "threatening" going on (some guy is taking a pic of the plate), a second later the new driver is plowing through the crowd.

MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS INCIDENT!
There a small hit in the windshiled lower right corner..
Someone says "good luck getting out of here"

Her windshield was smashed after accelerating over protesters.
The second plow yes, totally agree, but the initial ram (from this single perspective video) seems unprovoked.
Need more context.
She hit them first. Hope you don't get away with trying to blend in with us when your comrades are put against the wall
Only after ramming people when she didn't need to.
ok cuck
Yep it's private and pedestrians have the right of way.
Were they crossing, or blocking? That matters.
Don't go fishing for ways to excuse hypocrisy.
It is very different than a road. Regardless, if a car wants through, why block them?
If the driver is surrounded and feeling intimidated...you never know if they will hit the gas, whether carpark or road (what is the difference? Who was the driver anyway?
Not true. Watch again, she was clear to back out her vehicle and noone attacking her
Indeed. GTFO with these double standards. And get out of the way of the cars!
I might argue that for some reason, drivers switch seats in this one and she didn't beep or indicate that she wanted to get through. She was in her car for less than 5 seconds before she hit people. how dumb are you?

BLM/antifa are begging to get run over though. The people in this video are minding their own business. The person in the car can wait.
Why should she have to back out? This seems like their kind of shit.
There was a curb in front of her car. Just watch the video dude.
Edit: no curb, but also no violence towards her car until she accelerated over protesters
Never block a vehicle with your body- you will lose regardless of your politics.
Noone was blocking her vehicle. Watch the video. She had a clear path to back up and leave.
She shouldn't have to back out. They should make the lane of travel in the parking lot available to her unless the property owner leased them the space to shut it down.
Do you realize you commonly reverse and back out to exit a parking space in a parking lot?
wow so brave dude
Welcome to TheDonald
They were in a parking lot though...
You can see the parked cars in front of the building in the video...did you not watch it or something?
They were in a parking lot. They were not blocking traffic.

She had a clear path to reverse
The driver did not have clear path to reverse.

That doesn't mean the driver should run over people. The people need to provide a path to exit. Don't trap people.
fuck off
Who the fuck downvoted this lol
me for one
