To me it looks like they were blocking the path. Just being honest. Bunch of people standing in front.

They were in a parking lot. Totally different than rioters mobbing cars trying to pass on the street.

True..it looks different. But ffs, don't stand in front of cars! Especially at rallies when the drivers are NPCs.

Yup. I think the difference is they wont follow the law, social norms, or societal courtesies. These people are angry low life scum. Look at those idiots Kyle Rittenhouse shot. 3 random dirtbags doing dirtbag shit. All 3 are/were giant POS. The country is a better place without them.

Seriously to me it looked like the trump crowd surrounded the vehicle and driver responded. If this is the truth then fuck around and find out. If the vehicle ran over them stopped and got surrounded that's different.

SDhiker 1 point ago +1 / -0

Agreed they were definitely surrounded however the fact they excited the vehicle to switch drivers shows they weren't in fear for their lives. And also no one confronted them when they excited the vehicle.

Unless said person parked in that parking lot and was trying to leave. There's no context to that video but for the love of god can we all just move for cars. People got shit to do an places to be.

I agree that pedestrians have the right of way in a parking lot, but if I’m driving in a parking lot and surrounded by antifags, you better believe in flooring it. WE need to be smarter.

It's different, sure, but blocking a car is blocking a car.

Also, your username is funny in context.

Thanks! It's nice when the news aligns with username...

Standing in front of a vehicle isn't enough to justify running people over, having a valid fear for your life due to the violent protesters smashing your car up would be a valid reason for your safety and a reason to run them over, which wasn't what happened here, nobody was smashing the car up until AFTER it plowed through.

DoYouBelieveInMAGA 11 points ago +14 / -3

I mean they have the car surrounded. People on every side.

Standing in front of a vehicle isn't enough to justify running people over

So now we are okay with people blocking cars? I don't think we'd be upset if these were BLM protestors.

You've obviously never been to Yellowstone then.

When 3500 lbs bison are surrounding your car, you don't freak out and hit them with your vehicle if they aren't actually doing anything.

Now if those bison are charging your car sure, then floor it.

This can't be a real argument.

Most of the time when motorists have skedaddled hard it has been in response to a physical attack on their car. I usually see motorists creep and honk at marches initially if not directly attacked. She didn't do that, just floored it without any predicating violence or physical contact with her car.

Agreed. Just say, "Hey dude. I gotta go. You're on my car."

Most reasonable people (i.e., us MAGA'pedes) will move. Could be they're so focused on their rally, they're not as courteous as they ideally should be.

The videos I've seen of Portland, Seattle, Chicago, DC, and Kenosha do not have peaceful crowds of people but violent rioters intending to take life.

Amaroq64 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yeah, it looks bad for us, but it seems different if you look closely.

The car door is open at the start of the video. It shuts and then they immediately jerk forward into the crowd.

Good luck proving you were in fear for your life, shithead.

2
StaryHickory 2 points ago +3 / -1

Its not, but it's also creating a dangerous situation for no good reason. They were not attacking the person. That person was not in fear, she was angry. No one is defending the driver. But if a car is trying to move, let it go. What is the gameplan? Keep the car there indefinitely? The person, BLM scum or not, has to get somewhere.

She was outside her car a few seconds before she hit the gas. Nobody attacked her or her car.

She was charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault.

Even so, no one touched the car. And the car did not attempt to safely move through the crowd. Massive difference to just gun it vs inch through the crowd and force people to move and or get hit. If they hit your car while you inch forward then you are game to gun it but these people were not doing that. And they clearly felt safe enough to stand around and switch drivers.

Really gets nuanced when it's our side.

How about don't block cars. That's it.

How about details matter?

Metapod 9 points ago +14 / -5

Yep, can't defend this behavior, regardless of which president they support. They were blocking the car in and just before the car ran them over a guy literally says "good luck getting out"

Don't be dumb asses and block cars guys. leave that dumb game to antifa

ProtectFreedom 7 points ago +8 / -1

She just got in her car a couple seconds before hitting the gas. Nobody attacked her when she was out of her car or hit her car when she was in it either.

She got charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault.

regardless of which president they support.

Joe Biden is a candidate. He never was, nor ever will be, President.
