I think Trump would win 47 states if he'd just get on TV and tell people, "Look, the experts overstated the problem, their models were all wrong, and so our response was way overdone for what this virus really is. It has less than an 0.05% death rate for anyone under the age of 70 who doesn't already have serious medical problems. For those who aren't in those categories: go outside, live your lives while you still have them, and if you catch something go see your doctors."
