I was told I couldn't come into ACE hardware and the bank without a mask. Walked away and did my business elsewhere. Did it inconvenience me? Sure. Was it worth it? ABSOLUTELY.

When I tried to enter the store without a mask and an employee was standing guard at the entrance wiping down the shopping carts and told me I couldn't enter without a mask. There was a box of masks at the entrance and he handed me one for free. I can guarantee he probably hates having to be the facemask police. A couple months prior to that, I actually made it into the store without a mask and the manager came up to me and gave me one and requested I wear it. With other customers around, I didn't want to make a scene.

I want to make a stand but sometimes I think, what's the point? I'm getting humiliated and whose mind am I changing. I hate life right now.

Hippa laws. Can’t wear one and they can’t ask why. If they don’t want me to spend money so be it.

I walked out of a tire shop the other day because of their facemask policy. He told me I could stand outside and conduct my transaction over the phone, but I said no thank you and spent my $2600 elsewhere.

Yup. I was at the Goodwill. They came over the loudspeaker to tell me to put my mask on or leave. I heard several people yell to leave me alone. A Karen walked over to me to tell me to put my mask on or there would be trouble. I dropped everything I was holding to buy and walked out.

I’m at a pub right now in California. You have to wear a mask to walk to the bar to order a drink but you don’t need one to sit at the table and drink your drink.

I sometimes don't wear one and nobody says a word to me.....they better not.

A place a frequent asked me to wear one when I walked in. I looked at him, turned around and walked out. I don't find it humiliating. You don't want my business, I am okay with that. I am a very "shop local" person but if you want to push me to online shopping, it only saves me money in the long run.

Early on I decided I simply would exercise my right to vote with my dollar. I recognize a business has the right to deny me service but they will have to ask me to leave. If they stop me I simply tell them I do not believe I need a mask as I am not ill. If they say it’s their policy, I ask if they are asking me to leave because I want to make them make their policy clear and I will take my business elsewhere. Many will offer a mask but not ask you to leave. If any customer would make a fuss I would also leave but no one has and actually the businesses I frequent have more and more folks without masks.... sometimes it just takes some brave soul to start and others will follow...

I’ve never worn a mask, not even once, not even being a pussy fag and wearing it under my nose or chin, just no mask whatsoever. Even with face mask required signs, I walk right in like a boss and if questioned tell them I have a medical condition that prevents me from wearing one. Barnes and noble is the only store that actually refused me entry so far. Costco all the others, no problem.

When I walk by all the soy boys shopping with their cute little masks on, I try to make eye contact, but they look down in shame.

It's a governor mandate in my state. People were very compliant at first. Now half the people I see in any store (employees included) are wearing their masks under their nose, sometimes pulled down to their chin. Customers walk in with the mask over their nose and mouth, but 20 feet in, the mask gets pulled down.

I feel like it's not worth the hassle to cause a scene, it will just make people virtue signal even harder. I've learned to get by without shopping at a lot of stores that I used to go to regularly.
