So yeah I'll stop at the beginning. I believe the Bible is a collection of stories, passages, and books. Of which we don't know the writers, when it was written, etc. The fact that it was written in hebrew, then translated multiple times to other languages, there's some things lost in that translation.

I need proof before I would accept it as true, and you can't use the bible to prove the bible. If that's the case, harry potter is real.

I've been inside the religion. I grew up in rural northwest Kansas, 99.9999999% of the people are Christians. Went to a Catholic School, had first communion, first confession, and was confirmed. I think it's all crap. It doesn't explain how Asians got to Asia. Doesn't explain how marsupials got to Australia. Doesn't explain anything really. Just says have faith in me and I'll show you the way. Sorry, Democrats, I need evidence that you'll help me first.

Why wouldn't it if it's the book of god? And stop with the catholicism crap. It all comes from the same cloth. You basically believe the same stuff. In fact, your non catholic religion likely wasnt invented until the 1500s. So tell me how a 500 year old religion has all the answers? The truth is, your religion is no more right than somebody's religion in Singapore or somalia.

That's why I'm a believer in any religion. Everyone says their religion is right because of an ancient book. I call bs on all if it. Jesus really walked on water? Jesus took 2 fish and a loaf of bread and turned it into enough food to feed hundreds of people? I stopped believing in fairy tales at age 8. In fact, there's more evidence for a bunny that hides eggs then there is for God.

Forget about all that crap you just said. How much better would your life be if you lived it in a way that honors God?

Why do I have to go through life praising an imaginary being? One of the main reasons I stopped believing is because my uncle is legit one of the kindest little I've ever met, but he never really want to any church, although he believes in God. According to my old religion, the only way to get to eternal peace is if you accept Jesus as the savior, and my uncle was kinda meh on that. If he wouldn't get to go to heaven, I don't want to go either. If the only way you accept people is if they buy into your little scam, you aren't righteous. You're the mafia.

You have free will, and don't have to anything. I'm not mafia because I don't coerce people into living good lives; you have to decide that for yourself. I am making an observation that if you make the right sacrifices today, you will greatly reduce the amount of suffering you and your family eventually will endure. None of this depends upon the existence of a magical man with a white beard who lives in the sky, or whatever. It's an observation about nature, and nature is a cruel bitch.

The question was, how much better would your life be if you lived it in a way that honors God. That means: telling the truth, taking care of your elderly parents, raising good children, being faithful to your spouse, respecting others, not drinking too much, working out. It's just basic behavior and manners that determines if you, your family, and your society become healthier or sicker.
