One person will just run in and say "nuhh uhh" and when you ask them to clarify they will stop responding and someone else will chime in with another non-argument "wow so dumb, lol". And they will just repeat this tactic infinitely, never addressing or refuting anything you say, but still telling you you're wrong every step of the way.
I have a D&D session with a very left-leaning Democrat as the DM (he even used to teach courses at a liberal arts college), and he has been "subtly" (read: "very goddamn blatantly and aggressively") making comments about "evil/dumb/stupid" Republicans during our sessions.
At this point, I'm ready to call him out on it in front of the whole group the next time he tries it, and if he keeps it up after I call him out, I'm just going to leave the session at that moment and not come back. I only even play D&D to give myself some escapism and some in-person laid-back social interaction. If it's just going to get political despite my consistent requests to keep the politics out, I'm just going to leave.
At a certain point people become more concerned with the fall of western civilization happening before their eyes, than the risk of being punched by a weak wristed soyboy.
There have been about 4 pop up in my neighborhood over the past week, so I’m ordering more Trump signs to put in the greenways which are becoming filled with signs for basically uncontested positions: school board, register of deeds, etc.
I remember when I was a teenager. I remember one day teaching this girl who would eventually become the least of liberals. I remember her falling in love with me as I spoke because of how big my brain was, and feeling bad for her because she couldn't think for herself. I told her my secret to life was just to ask the question "why?" over and over about everything. I began to show her an example and I why'd my way away from her for good and she was unable to follow.
