I have an uber liberal acquaintance who was saying that Bloomberg was a hero for doing this. Giving back all those felons the right to vote. He said they will vote Biden. I dont think it even clicked with him that they are relying on felons to swing it in their favor. Pretty clear election tampering.
I will say I am not completely against certain ex-cons voting. I dont think people should be able to vote en mass as soon as they get all their legal shit cleared up. It should be 5 years after just to avoid political bullshit like this.
NPR was going on and on about how they normally encourage people to pay for someone else's fees, so why is it such a problem now? And they repeated over and over how there's no guarantee they would even vote for Biden so how can it be politically motivated?
It's simple, NPR, it is against the law to offer anything of value to encourage someone to vote. It doesn't say it's only illegal if they vote for you, it's illegal to pay someone to vote, which is exactly what Mikey did.
Depends on the crime. If the crime has anything to do with election tampering, then you forfeit all right to vote ever again. Same with killing anybody = you took away their right to vote, you lose yours.

Just remind these people they're siding with rapists and murderers in a desperate attempt to get rid of Trump and it's SAD
Because facts matter- murder and rape convicts did not get their voting rights back. So they sided with thieves, thugs and dirtbags.
Remember that these people tell us that masks are effective enough at stopping the spread of the virus, but we also had to empty the prisons.
Or... you could just give the prisoners masks?

Voting is a privilege, not a right. A concept the country sorely needs to relearn.
