/r/gunaccessoriesforsale and pick up a gently used Vortex Strikefire II for the same price. They’re nigh indestructible. Heavier than the Romeo5, with no shake awake (best Romeo5 feature imo), but it takes a lot to put them down.
$700 gun, $125 optic. Might want to get a more robust optic tbh.
It’s a pistol. It’s not like he’s gonna be hunting mule deer at 300yds.

Fair enough, I have one of those on my .22. You did pay retail price for it though, they’re in the $150 range when on sale at Palmetto State Armory.
