All I can find is the Slaga Viska and I've never seen it in stock (but the picture looks like the same model).
Where do you source the ammo? 9 x 39mm doesn't exist in the US. It barely exists in Russia. Wouldn't 556 or 308 have been easier? By the way excellent firearm dude.
Wolf or Tulammo I think have shipped a fuckton of it here, it’s been available for a long time, and places like Piedmont Cartridges and Lehigh have begun making it domestically. If it wasn’t available, I don’t think Krebs would have started making their 9x39 AK

There were several projects to recreate the VSS for the US market. I remember a couple of them. This is the first I've ever seen a real product. Actually sent a few emails to a guy who was working on one a handful of years back.

That doesn't look like the stock integral surpressor, is it aftermarket ? I just realised you've got the side cover off.
No, this was originally a Molot MMG gun. They are newer, but are meant for 7.62x39 blanks. I’m just restoring it to its former glory and implementing better suppressor internals than the original (which used stamp sheet metal baffles).
Yeah the original vss surpressor internals are basically 3 metal washers.
