Not familiar with a lot of Canadian politicians. Let me see who this O'Toole guy is...

On policy issues, O'Toole supports gradually eliminating the federal deficit, defunding the CBC's TV and digital English-language operations, simplifying federal taxes, allowing provinces to not have a carbon tax, pipeline construction, a "CANZUK" agreement, getting "tough on China"...

Okay, not bad, what else?

O'Toole is pro-choice on the matter of abortion and opposes legal restrictions on the practice...

Never mind, he can sit and spin.

This is Canada dude if you don't speak the language people will never vote for you, it's not like any politician does what they say they will do anyway.

Things like gun control and abortion are locked down by the left, if you don't pander to them you don't have a chance.

That being said i don't like the conservatives either, but who else should i vote for?

I get that Canada is considerably more far left than we are, so I understand your dilemma, but to me, abortion is a make-or-break issue.

Vote for whoever is best, but I don't believe that conceding an issue to the left is necessary or advisable.

“I won the leadership of the Conservative Party as a pro-choice Conservative MP, one with a strong mandate. That’s how I’m going to lead as the leader of the Opposition,” O’Toole said.
