I dont trust republicans and wouldnt put it past them to have scheduled the hearing for oct 13th so dems would have time to block it with procedural shenanigans.

This could be why the rinos were willing to say they would vote for the nominee...because they knew it would be delayed past the election.

My thoughts exactly. At this rate if the hearings start on October 13th and the democrats shut it down with procedural motions, what do the republicans have planned? Issuing a sternly worded letter blaming the democrats??

My question is how long can they delay it with procedural tactics?

It sounds like they can stop the work at two hours. Hopefully, our side will not play this game and go directly to a vote. If the democrats are just there to play games the Republicans need to shut it down and go directly to vote. It will start with Lindsey Graham and the Judiciary Committee and how quickly they vote it out of committee.
