He’s a liar. There’s no way he had a conversation with Joe. Joe can barely string two thoughts together, even with his gigantic teleprompter. If he spoke with Kamala and thinks she is “kind and compassionate”, he either didn’t spend 4 seconds doing any research, or he is a complete idiot, or someone is clutching his scrumpsack under the table. Could also be all three. There’s no sane reason a well liked actor would do this to themself.
