There are certain times when it is best to take the high ground over your enemies and follow principle.

e.g. Censorship and free speech. When the left censors the right, we don't censor them back.

Riot and violence. When the left commits violence, we hold ourselves back from committing violence.

There are times however, where the only effective way is to fight fire with fire. I believe with this is the way to go with cancel culture.

Otherwise good people will lose their livelihoods and will be forced to submit to the left ideology.

It is also insulting to know that the money you used to support a product ends up supporting causes against you e.g. money donated to rioters' bailout funds.
