I'm not trying to brag but one of the things my husband praises me for continually how "domestic" I am. I come from a family who likes to cook and bake, I like keeping our house nice. I also believe the man is the head of the house (not some master in some whackadoo liberal's "Handmaids Tail" fantasy but rather the final decision maker). I also was wise to chose a man who respects me and does his utmost to share the burden (considering we both work and have a kid so we both share chores at home). It is a well-balanced marriage; we suit each other well and feel like a team.

Of all the girls he dated before he met me (apparently a lot of artsy chicks), I'm the only one who could cook (I take that to mean "cook well"). That's...... so sad to me. It's not even that hard of a skill; I grew up believing everyone cooked. If you can read you can cook for goodness sake! Then again, there's my ex-sister-in-law who could "cook" but everything she made was absolutely tasteless. How do you make chocolate cake and homemade ice cream have NO taste?!!?!?

Teach your son's and daughters too cook, people!
