So I've been trying to upload a photo into the Sunday Gunday mess for several weeks now. Regardless if I do it on mobile or desktop every time I upload a jpeg and title it the site says "Post must be an image, text, or link."
I've tried every which way around, including selecting "image" as the post type in the dropdown box.
Any idea why I cannot submit my photo? It's a jpeg that's 3.43mb in size.
Upload it to https://maga.host/ Then copy the link and post it again I had the same issue as you. This fixed it

When I post the link will it still give the thumbnail photo on the post? Or will the post be link only?

theres an upper limit for direct image file size here, anything over like a MB have to upload to an image host like maga.host and then post the link here as a link post
Too big size, scale it down, at least that's my experience, maybe crop a little
'Create a post' says 12MB is maximum though.
Yeah I don't know the logic behind it but pictures I actually take with my phone seem to only have the problem until I find the magic scaled down/ cropped point it accepts it. Maybe it's a resolution of the image problem vs actual file size?
