I've always reminded people that the insults that hit hardest are those closest to the truth. If you call someone who's in shape "fat", a tall person "pipsqueak" or an obviously good looking person "ugly", it's meaningless. The NPC thing bothered them because it is 100% accurate. Thus the meltdown about it on social media.
It also helps that since the MAGA crowd actually has a sense of humor, we're able to bounce what they think are insults right back at them and use them as ammo. The "Deplorables" and "Covfeve" immediately come to mind. If I thought about it, I could probably come up with a few more. I'd probably throw "Two Scoops" and the variations in there.
The Left's programming is so low on memory there's no room available to run a humor sub-routine. Therefore their reaction to everything, including insults directed at them and the co-opting of their attempt at insults toward us, is blind outrage. It also explains why they are so bad at memes.
I just shut down like 8 people in the comments section of a news.com article on the Trump tax return. They tried to throw everything at me but the kitchen sink. Covid shit, personal insults, you name it. I just told them the truth, didn't get bogged down in personal attacks just the truth as it appears in the article. They gave up, one just flat out said "you can't debate this guy, he's like a rock" I took that as a huge compliment, the truth is bullet proof. They'll try all the mental gymnastics in the world to bait you into a flame war, but I stuck to the truth didn't get personal and I fucked their days up. Feels good man.
This guy is a perfect example of someone way too confident in their own intelligence level. It's like someone took a hit of asshole LSD and is trying to explain the world to others.
They got so triggered I ended up with a 3 day ban, after the hundred or so "love messages" calling me a nazi, to kill myself, that I was a narcissist and one even called me a french royal thus my fear of legitimate protests. So many of the insults felt like compliments lmao. (The thread was talking about the cop who pushed a bike over a protestors head that threw himself in front of the cops)
Why do they always get personal when their butthurt. It's just like a nervous tick. "Duh logic has failed me, your an asshat." Reddit is where stupid people go to feel better about themselves.
I use the same tactics and usually advise others of the same. Don't use profanities or insults and hit them with facts. It drives them nuts. Eventually, usually immediately, they'll chime in with the insults or the brush offs like "you can't debate with him" and I'll call them out on that. Something like, "If you have to resort to profanities and insults, I'll accept your concession." That's because that IS a concession. It's the equivalent of "C'mon man...you know the thing." That's generally what sends them into a blind outrage. I don't do this because I'm expecting they're going to realize how moronic and childish they are. I do it for any normies that happen to stumble across the conversation.
Yep that's why victim mentality is so prevalent on the left, they don't know how to deal with valid criticism or hear any sort of truth. That's why racist, nazi, privileged are such ready responses they make them feel good about disagreeing and gives them a carte blanche to dismiss any truth that may be spoken to them.
The thing with that one was that they had just spent months talking about how Comey needed to be fired. Then once Trump fired him they had to switch sides because Orange Man Bad. That's why the audience cheered, they literally just went with their programming and Colbert had to reprogram them on the spot.
His audience is so dumb and sycophantic they don't even know what to cheer or boo for. Just clap for everything, I'm sure it'll be fine. Bahahahahahaha.
I'm thinking about the scene in The Shining with the pages and pages of "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy," except with "Orange man bad." That essentially sums up the media for the last four years.
Of all the things the TDS Democrats have been REEEEEEEing about over the past four years, the tax return thing is probably the most retarded. He obviously pays his taxes, and if there were anything illegal to be found, the 2+ years Mueller witch hunt would have found it. The President was the target of that sham investigation, and they specifically scrutinized taxes to get charges on Cohen and Manafort. President Trump also admitted from the beginning that he pays as little taxes as possible, just like everyone else. So what did these idiots think that they were going to find in his tax returns?
NYT already did a "bombshell" article about a year ago now on Trump's family taxes that went nowhere because there was nothing illegal. Figure the same cycle will happen here. Liberals will be told to be outraged because they feel like he should be paying more taxes and then they're back to articles about how Trump says he thinks soldiers are losers or whatever.
Tbh I wouldnt be pissed if he dodged tax bullets anyways. Like who cares. Irs is not our friend and Trump has been trying to get the irs off our backs. Now with someone like a socialist democrat then yeah I'd see it a big deal if they dodged those bullets because they're about taxing everyone into oblivion and should lead by example.
He now has 3+ years of proving that he will keep his promises to us, and that’s all that matters to me. He could have stolen his entire fortune from the IRS for all I care, as long as he keeps doing the job he’s doing I’ll back him 100%.
25 years ago I would have said the same, but now as in 2016 we are in such a perilous position that if we don’t get the country turned around, then tax issues will be small potatoes compared to the corruption and destruction to follow. To be clear, I don’t think Trump has done anything wrong or illegal.
I think he wants to, but he doesn’t have the clout to drain the swamp. I believe he’s done the best he could with the hands he’s been dealt. Just as an example, look at the firestorm that the completely justifiable firing of Comey unleashed. He has to choose his battles very wisely, but a second term, especially with a favorable Congress and SCOTUS, should give him a lot more latitude. I’ll withhold judgment until then.
Everyone pays as little as possible on their taxes. If there is a deduction to be had, people take it. Again, President Trump even stated this fact from the beginning, so there is no shock that his highly skilled accountants find every legal way possible to reduce his tax burden. I try to do the same when I do my own taxes, although likely not as well as those accountants do.
Rush said it best years ago. Career politicians especially at the higher levels keep their books extremely clean and operate anything sketchy through foundations and family, etc. Then when it comes time to show their tax returns, surprise surprise, there is nothing to see. Holding a private citizen or businessman to the same standard is BS, and it only discourages successful people from stepping out of private life into politics, where Trump has shown they are sorely needed.
As if a wealthy land Chad like Trump, operating tons of real estate, doesn't have a full team of professionals making sure his tax record is spotless. IRS would have found it a loooong time ago.
The shop teacher I had was alive during the switch between hand saws and circular saws. He lost two fingers because in the hand saw days you used to stick them under the cut so you could ease off. Good guy though, and he constantly drilled into us that technology changes and you must learn to adapt with it.
Sad but true, the most dangerous thing I can think of from middle school was when we all got to play with the kiln and make stuff. Someone got burned, but not badly. The table saws, routers, and all the rest they were very clear "don't fuck around."
Man they'd have blown their top in the high school I was in too. We had this old planer made in the 1930s, must have weighed close to half a ton. But it could even up boards like it was going out of style, and could accommodate first passes of 1" on stock upto 60" thick and 48" wide. It was apparently a hand-me-down from the bomb factory that got torn down after WWII ended in a nearby town.
That's one that blows my mind. At what point did boards of education everywhere go "well, ensuring that people don't understand how government works is a great idea." And it happened all over the place here in North America.
I read it twice, there's nothing there. No financial ties to Russia, no illegal activity. Fucking dipshit journalist's, it's a straight up hit piece full of opinion and speculation.
So he followed the rules and gamed the system to pay the least taxes legally possible. Are they going to point to a specific rule that they want changed or are they going to block traffic and throw bricks until shop owners and motorists do something to “close the loopholes” in federal tax code?
Oh those tax rules that congress passed.. ya know the ones that among other things allows new DC homebuyers a pretty generous tax CREDIT.. the one that stares at me every year I do my taxes, taunting me, reminding me of the dc swamp.
Thats 10 million, or <point point point> 10 thousand million er....<point point point> ten millions billion thousand....come on you know the thing man.
Trump is just smart, all his money is in countries where he pays not much in tax. His businesses in america were given to his children, so he doesnt pay tax on them anymore. This is why socialism wont work, the rich will simply send their money abroad.
The only outrage in all of this is the way the SDNY obtained and made public his private tax records in the first place. If the IRS is OK with his taxes, then it's none of their fucking business.
Oh but don't you know it links to Trump selling a building to Russian Oligarchs who gutted it and did nothing with it. It has to be money laundering...
this retard is quite literally asking his leftist circlejerk how he's supposed to feel, incredible.
This is why the shat themselves so badly upon the NPC meme. It's because it's true.
There's no self awareness! How do these people even operate?
God gives his children Free Will. To act and live on their soul's guidance.
Aaaand the Liberal says "No thanks!"
So the Devil took over for them. :/
Because of socialist programs and/or their parents money.
This phrase makes me feel ill.
Thank for this verb that is going into my vocabulary forever.
Let me try a couple:
"Hillary just about had a Nadler-fit when she lost the election. I Nadler you not!"
Friend: Hey man, how's it goin'? Me: You know, same Nadler, different day.
I like it!

Man the other day on reddit I was doing the same thing. I got this response, still trying to figure out if it's an insult.....
https://prnt.sc/up4mag
They got so triggered I ended up with a 3 day ban, after the hundred or so "love messages" calling me a nazi, to kill myself, that I was a narcissist and one even called me a french royal thus my fear of legitimate protests. Why do they always get personal when their butthurt. It's just like a nervous tick. "Duh logic has failed me, your an asshat." Reddit is where stupid people go to feel better about themselves.
In a world where logic and morality is seen as relative, counter opinions are seen as personal attacks.
Personal attacks are for people who are of weak mind and weaker resolve.

It does feel good.
My standard line is. Nice insult, now if you wish to address the content of my comment blah blah blah
Yep that's why victim mentality is so prevalent on the left, they don't know how to deal with valid criticism or hear any sort of truth. They always squeal the loudest when we're right over target. It's their most obvious tell.
Downloading update "tax returns"... 2:42 remaining...
"Playing catch-up to the narrative"
NPC confirmed

That's why the audience cheered, they literally just went with their programming and Colbert had to reprogram them on the spot.
In retrospect with the current leaks from the durham probe, we know exactly why he fired Comey.
Hilarious
His audience is so dumb and sycophantic they don't even know what to cheer or boo for. Just clap for everything, I'm sure it'll be fine. Bahahahahahaha.
"How do we feel about this" is one of the most annoying things that surfaced between 2010-2020.
I don't know, stupid. Use your mind and voice, and find the eff out how YOU feel about something.
hahaha this made me laugh out loud then immediately feel bad for whatever typed that.
It would have been more damaging than what they wrote too it's that fucking lame of an article
I'm thinking about the scene in The Shining with the pages and pages of "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy," except with "Orange man bad." That essentially sums up the media for the last four years.
Oh shit, now I’m gonna have to meme that
LOLLL

They're literally saying "I'm outraged" in the comment replies lmfao!
I expect them to circle back to "Muh Russia" soon. Wouldn't be surprised if it was this coming week. The left is stuck in a loop like a broken record.
Tbh I wouldnt be pissed if he dodged tax bullets anyways. Like who cares. Irs is not our friend and Trump has been trying to get the irs off our backs. End the fed Audit the irs

Honestly I don't get why the media thinks we care about his taxes. We hate taxes.

Burn down a business that might have people inside? Heroic and brave protest
Stop cars and attack the driver? Driver was probably racist and deserved it.
Throw Molotov cocktails at cops? Peaceful protest
Don’t pay your taxes? ACTUAL HITLER!!!

Yep.
Ban all CRT crap in the schools and replace it with mandatory business accounting courses.
Most middle schools don't even have home ec or shop class now. That should tell ya a lot.
They should have listened when the shop teacher with 9 fingers told them to always have the safety shield engaged!
The shop teacher I had was alive during the switch between hand saws and circular saws. He lost two fingers because in the hand saw days you used to stick them under the cut so you could ease off. You're telling me man.
A civics course would be beneficial as well.
That's one that blows my mind. At what point did boards of education everywhere go "well, ensuring that people don't understand how government works is a great idea." And it happened all over the place here in North America.
Imagine hating your president so much you're disappointed that he's not corrupt!
“Tell me what to think.”
Put your mask back on and get in line!
So WTF are we outraged? Please someone tell me what to think!!!
The 2-minute-hate was so effective because it was an ingrained Pavlovian response.
2 min hate > 30 min reads
More of a nothing slider really
Love the KOTH memes. Keep'em coming !
I read it twice, there's nothing there. No financial ties to Russia, no illegal activity. Fucking dipshit journalist's, it's a straight up hit piece full of opinion and speculation.
No they wouldn’t, if they could read they’d realize that they just wasted their time reading a 10000 word nothing burger
Here's xir's comment -

Well when you have no idea how to think, you’re forced to ask what to think
"tell me what my opinion is" isn't a meme it's reality
So he followed the rules and gamed the system to pay the least taxes legally possible. Are they going to point to a specific rule that they want changed or are they going to block traffic and throw bricks until shop owners and motorists do something to “close the loopholes” in federal tax code?

If you need a 10k word expose to explain why it's bad and why you should care, it's a nothing burger.
Thats 10 million, or <point point point> 10 thousand million er....<point point point> ten millions billion thousand....come on you know the thing man.
If I had billions, you can bet the damn farm that I'm not paying any taxes either.
Both

Breaking News: Business man who employs thousands uses the U.S. Tax Code to offset gains with business losses and expenses.
Now NYT release Pelosi's, and Hunter Biden's and the Clintons. You fucking pussies.
"If I could find a way to not pay income taxes legally, I would do it too."
"OMG TRUMP LEGALLY DIDN'T PAY INCOME TAXES"
Trump is just smart, all his money is in countries where he pays not much in tax. His businesses in america were given to his children, so he doesnt pay tax on them anymore. This is why socialism wont work, the rich will simply send their money abroad.
Please tell me what I should think.
Imagine having to ask so you won't get on the wrong side of your "friends" who tolerate you as long as you share the same opinion.
According to STEEELter this is the biggest bombshell all year - HONK HONK
This is such a good meme but its missing the image with the title quote
Don't you just love it when lefties use that term "nothing burger"? Gag
Clearly a noob liberal. It doesn’t matter if it’s nothing burger, orange man bad!
The only outrage in all of this is the way the SDNY obtained and made public his private tax records in the first place. If the IRS is OK with his taxes, then it's none of their fucking business.
I saw the headline this morning and was like not even going to waste my time reading it.
