For the most part we are limited to bolt or lever action with a Cat A&B license (recreational / sporting shooter).
If you can justify it (primary producer, professional hunter) you can apply for a Cat C and get 10 round rimfire semi-autos (and semi auto or pump action shotties).
Down under we just have to work harder on our aim...
