Thank you for posting this, I now understand why Somalis can't function properly in western countries and why the Somali system works for Somalis. It's actually a great system (for cultures with very strict clan affiliations and loyalty). The problem is decentralized governments are unable to effectively defend themselves from outside threats like the UN.
