This has got to be some sort of 4d trap. The only thing this truly proves is that rich people don't pay taxes, shedding light on how the system is at fault. So, why having the population foot the bill? They also say he just went for the presidency to impose lower taxes on himself. But why bother lowering it if he pays so little thanks to loopholes in the system? They don't think about what they're saying, or who this actuallyhurts, which are the people who push for higher rates or, at the very least, the elites on their own side. The right have been pushing to move away from the system entirely since forever specifically because of this, lmfao.

They use places with high personal taxes like Sweden as some idiotic example of how to run a country, knowing little well that this all means jack shit for someone who has a proper accountant. Sweden also sports a corporate tax comparable to the States, too, as a way to compete with overseas markets, and so to that end, it only serves as a means to tax the poor who can't afford such services.....

The only reason why they get the light of day is because their base is full of morons who froth at the mouth over any negative news, who don't care to see what any of this means, and I'd wager a bet that these morons are the minority. They may scream the loudest but I don't think America is listening anymore..... And given the endless stream of fake news articles, even the independents who would otherwise deem this a genuine issue of concern would likely be dubious about its veracity.

Of course they do. But what I mean in general is the layman does not have access to the same services to segue around taxation as someone who can afford an accountant. In the same way gunlaws hu rt innocents more than the cr iminals they intend to target, taxation does the same to middle class families.

Tbh, I'm not sure what it's like in America, so I'll take your word for it. Just that, in Canada, you can avail of certain tax credits based on claims of how your business operates. Home business, sr&ed, ccs, as well as expenses based on how you write purchases off. It's quite arbitrary and really in depth, not by any means trivial to a start up business. The assumption that a business owner would have the time and know-how off the bat to jump through all the hoops while micromanaging their own business, at least here, is quite the expectation.

Maybe my understanding of our own tax system is too simple, but an accountant worth their weight can make the greens despite going red, at least on this side of the world.....
