With my limited understanding of geopolitics, I understand that Trump is really good at the art of the squeeze. He will apply pressure on his target and as long as no other country 'coddles the crying baby' , they will soon be forced to negotiate.

The problem is that this requires time. Something that is limited by the American term limit of 2 terms. If Trump had more time, I think he would be able to solve or at least have a good crack at solving various issues in the world.
