I run arch and gentoo mostly, but I never recommend other people do.
ive been using linux for quite a long time, since floppies were common.
for me minimal is easier since im going to remove all the software that comes with it and install my own custom setup every time anyway. saves half the work to start from nothing if you know what you want and what you're doing.
