Thank you, Sir! Indeed, even I have enough common sense to know that the dems are liars who are obsessed with destroying this great nation and want to manipulate people like me into giving them power. We all gotta stand up to them and MAGA our way into the white house together!

And for what it's worth, I will assume you are not a real dick tick.

Unrivalled sense of humanity isn’t a good feature. Following th constitution is the feature we are looking for. Unrivalled sense of Humanity is how you get open borders and amnesty

28
deleted 28 points ago +33 / -5
18
Yawnz13 18 points ago +25 / -7

Highly debatable. Hard to claim open borders and amnesty is part of an "unrivaled sense of humanity" when such policies tend to hurt both the native population AND the outside people coming in.

It's very easy to claim and people have been doing it for decades. Westerner's sense of empathy is our greatest weakness.

-5
Yawnz13 -5 points ago +1 / -6

It isn't "Westerner's sense of empathy" that's the issue, it's the presumption that such a stance is empathetic in to begin with. You're conflating genuine empathy with naiveté.

Considering Barrett has upheld Trump's various immigration laws that have come before her, you're not making a good case for yourself.

2
zabbers 2 points ago +2 / -0

I've said nothing about Barrett. I've simply refuted your statement "hard to claim that such a policy is part of an "unrivaled sense of humanity" when it hurts two groups of people". The fact that bleeding heart liberals and socialists dominate the culture is proof that you're wrong. You can argue the reasons, whether it's because people are morons for presuming empathy, the media has a marxist agenda and has propagandized us to think this way, or that people are just not rational. I can easily find a dozen such claims. They simply ignore any downsides or pretend the downsides don't exist. ("Huh? Why would amnesty hurt anyone you bigot?")

-4

5
jubyeonin 5 points ago +5 / -0

Have you heard of bleeding heart liberals?

-4
Yawnz13 -4 points ago +2 / -6

Yeah, they tend to make things worse for the people they think they're helping.

3
jubyeonin 3 points ago +3 / -0

That was his point.

-5
Yawnz13 -5 points ago +1 / -6

That was my point:

"when such policies tend to hurt both the native population AND the outside people coming in."

4
No_Malarkey_Joe 4 points ago +4 / -0

This. "Unrivalled sense of humanity" could certainly mean open borders and amnesty, or it can mean a properly ordered view of the world where you can't give everyone everything all the time because they want it. I see it in the same way people think that Christianity can be reduced down to "being a good person" in a very nebulous sense where you have a permissive attitude towards everything.

-5
Yawnz13 -5 points ago +1 / -6

Considering her history, I highly doubt that.

5
tombombadil 5 points ago +5 / -0

I think in this context it is more of caring for her children and not murdering them that describes her sense of humanity. Notice how whenever the left describes “humanity”, it is always something that screws other people over.

4
DoesItWorkAlready 4 points ago +5 / -1

Frankly what we need now on the Right is good dose of inhumanity.

This is after all, the successful Franco and Pinochet model. A brief dose of extreme inhumanity to get rid of the commies, and then years of prosperity

3
mbarnar 3 points ago +4 / -1

But the constitution is an extremely humane document. It is the constitution of the first nation on earth formed under principles of humanity, not hierarchy.

Out of the 20 chosen justices for the position she was the only one to support the lockdown and sited the Jacobson v. Massachusetts, 197 U.S. 11 (1905) ruling, this ruling was by the United States Supreme Court, the case in which the Court upheld the authority of states to enforce compulsory vaccination laws. The Court's decision articulated the view that individual liberty is not absolute and is subject to the police power of the state.

Information is knowledge. I'm catching hate from my own side but it needs to be said the only one standing between us and the global pedos is trump and us the American citizens.

16
DoesItWorkAlready 16 points ago +20 / -4

submission to rulers is a Catholic tradition, it's not extraordinary that she ruled for the State (and has many times).

However, this country was founded by Protestants, who though the individual more important than the state.

How many Protestants are on the Supreme Court?

The answer is of course, "none"

3
DeplorableCentipede 3 points ago +3 / -0

But there was also a Pennsylvania judge (Stickman) who used, in the context of ruling on said mandates, that these sorts of mandates don't override Constitutional rights. He even explicitly mentioned Jacobson in his decision, overriding Gov. Wolf's lockdown orders.

So there's that.

hansgruber7 2 points ago +2 / -0

American children are not rotting in orphanages because of a lack of people willing to adopt them. There are actually long wait lists to adopt American children.

2
ObamasLooseButthole 2 points ago +2 / -0

She should have put her ass on a wait list then instead of adopting kids from an entirely different country and culture. All it tells me is she isn't willing to put her virtue signaling on hold in order to get an American child and that makes it clear to me she isn't America first. And it just so happens that 'America First' is what I want in a SCOTUS Justice.

1
hansgruber7 1 point ago +1 / -0

I want an America First justice too and I have my doubts about her for other reasons, but there is a wait list of over two million people to adopt American babies and the wait list lasts for years. There is nothing wrong with adopting internationally in those circumstances. You can be a Trump-supporting America First person and adopt internationally without any contradiction given how long the wait list is for adopting Americans.

Probably there would be a bunch of mass shootings that they would blame on Trump. He doesn't want that, so he won't actually appoint the people we need to get things back to good.

She's a woman. Women seek security and are risk-averse by nature. Women would never, in a million years, have drafted anything remotely resembling the Constitution. So saying she's a "conservative" woman is like saying somebody is the tallest midget.
