TX GOP's first act as far as I can tell since Allen West got elected was to sue Abbott for not convening the legislature to change the early voting dates.
On Friday Abbott had the nerve to announce a "legislative agenda" to further criminalize rioting (oh great, fine) but refuses to convene the legislature for a special session to do a fucking thing about it (oh darn). Because he knows the first thing the legislature will do is tear apart his precious mask mandate!
I wish these lawsuits would start taking a few bites out of his ass. The Texas Supreme Court needs to get some of these cases and I think they'll strike down these orders, mandates and ordinances.
