I have no idea if she was telling the truth, but the 911 call and her statement immediately prior to the arrest were why the police were primed to expect an imminent deadly threat. I don't think he was "non-compliant", I think he was just drunk and slow to process the commands, but they don't know what's going on in his head. If it turns out that she lied I hope they throw the book at her.

She said he was "acting crazy" and that she "thought she heard a gunshot". She's the one that escalated the situation.
