Certainly, that doesn't require a tackle.

The campaign has taken a major turn since Brad left.... I love the guy, but clearly they have made quite a few changes since he left....

Brad was never gonna be the guy to push the campaign over the finish line. He was always a placeholder and completely safe in his main role. A role he has clearly dominated in these last two elections. Trump will have his back because he is loyal and conducted himself appropriately in a tense situation.

Brad never ever claimed to be some kind of campaign expert. He never even claimed to be very experienced with digital stuff. Trump and co. just really liked his work. They gave him a lot of credit and he expressed he was glad he could help.

And the officer said "get on the ground" and there was no time to react before that cop came charging. I don't think I would have the time to get on the ground in the time between the officer saying that and the tackle.

Actually the cop yelling that has no authority to even ask that. The initial police officer that has control of the situation does.

Ah the “protect blue no matter who” group. Most end up being larpers.

Let’s be clear. Police procedure means the first person to engage and has control of the situation is in Charge.

The police officer engaged the man in conversation. He appeared to have control. The suspect appeared to be calm.

Going Leeroy Jenkins on someone is against procedure. They now open themselves to lawsuits and in most cases will lose. For no reason.

Why were they demanding he be on the ground while he was speaking calmly to an officer? It almost seemed scripted. Yes, I have had a false DV claim made against me while I was drunk. The police initially believed her, yet didn't tackle me when I was calmly speaking to another officer. Guess what, I was neither tackled by police nor charged with anything.
