She said he was "acting crazy" and that she "thought she heard a gunshot". She's the one that escalated the situation.

I have no idea if she was telling the truth, but the 911 call and her statement immediately prior to the arrest were why the police were primed to expect an imminent deadly threat. I don't think he was "non-compliant", I think he was just drunk and slow to process the commands, but they don't know what's going on in his head. If it turns out that she lied I hope they throw the book at her.

Fine. However, first on the scene has control of the situation. Having police done whatever they feel like isn’t procedure.

how much you want to bet she's not even there and was simply talking to him over the phone and that's where she got that shit from....

You don't "think you heard a gunshot" when sitting in the same house with someone else shooting a gun... But I could see it happening while over the phone possibly
