Remington was bought by a venture capitalist group a few years ago that specializes in buying distressed companies, gutting them, and then selling off the remaining assets.

Yep, then QC, goes out the window to cut costs. You get a bad name and loose all your customers.

Not only is this true, but the "Freedom Group" is a Soros funded operation.

I think everyone sold record amounts of guns and ammo in 2020.

That's not true - there's been no final judgement in those lawsuits.

Remington took on a huge amount of debt. It was so much that even in these times of scarce firearms (and despite filing for bankruptcy just a couple years ago) they are unable to get out from underneath their massive bubble of debt.

They mismanaged their finances after more than two centuries of effective stewardship.

I have a plan to rescue them in 2 months.... Make ammo around the clock, sell it direct to the customer online, raise your prices by 10%. Why do corporations always make shit so hard??

Sadly ......... all that’s left is a brand name. Hopefully it’s 7 patriots who will bring it back even stronger 🐸

Almost no one is talking about Ruger getting Marlin. That could be an amazing line. Imagine a beefed up, big bore, lever with a fast twist and a threaded barrel, jfc imma need a minute over here.
