However... I like the watered down American Islamics better than those really, really Islamic Islamics.

The nice thing about being Catholic is that you either are or you are not. Take for example a "Catholic" voting for someone who supports abortion. You ain't Catholic my friend.
I cringe whenever I hear Pelosi reference her Catholic faith. I keep expecting a lightning bolt to come out of the sky and zap her a good one.
There are no "moderates" in Islam. These Muslims explain it: "These are general views that every Muslim actually has. Every Muslim believes in these things. Just because they're not telling you about it, or just because they're not out there in the media doesn't mean they don't believe in that."
Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of Turkey, explains it: "The term 'moderate Islam' is ugly and offensive. There is no moderate Islam. Islam is Islam."
